Hi everybody.
Thank you all for bearing with us. Apologies for staying quiet for a few weeks, but we have been very busy behind the scenes finding a way to accommodate everyone who’s applied. And since we are a small team, this has taken time. However, we are now making progress, and should be in a position to confirm more venues soon. At present, we are exploring the following:
• Expanding capacity at the Holy GrAle by concentrating music programming there.
• Using a new venue in Durham as a primary hub for spoken word and comedy. (Theatre, magic and other categories: don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you – we will consider which space suits each act on a case-by-case basis.)
• Exploring possibilities with two other venues in Durham – however, we intend to start scheduling based on the first two venues, with additional performances from more venues an optional extra.
Based on this, we hope to start making offers of slots shortly. If you need to start making plans and would like information on dates sooner rather than later, drop us a line and we’ll do our best to give information on where we are.
